Beneficial and underused. That sums up the Farmer’s Carry. Sometimes called a Loaded Carry, this move will help you gain strength, get your heart rate up, and lose fat. Plus, it has the added benefit of being simple to perform.
Loaded Carry How-To
The key is to choose heavy weights – dumbbells and kettle bells both work great. Brace your core, grab a weight in each hand, keep your palms facing in, and press through your legs as you stand. Push your shoulders back and walk, keeping your core tight. See below for Trainer Travis’ how-to video.
