Looking for an alternative to traditional crunches? The V Crunch, when done properly, gives your entire core a great workout.
“The V crunch is a combination crunch and leg raise that works both your top and lower abs,” Trainer Travis explains.
How To Do A V Crunch
To get started, while on your back, raise your shoulders off the mat and place your hands under your glutes to help support yourself. Keep a slight bend at your knees while you raise your legs and shoulders simultaneously, hold for a moment, and return to starting position.
This is another great move that works for people of all fitness levels. Trainer Travis suggests modifying if necessary. “Beginners, keep your feet on or nearer to the floor. For a more advance workout, lift those feet higher.” Return to starting position with a slow, controlled movement.
