Complete Fitness trainer Travis Hackett knows that push ups are a main staple in any strength and conditioning program. That’s why this month he’s recommending the TRX push-up. This intermediate upper body exercise targets the chest, shoulders and arms. To get started, place your feet securely into the foot cradles positioned directly under the anchor point and get in a push up plank position with your feet together, your back flat and your core tight. Lower yourself down in a controlled movement. Press yourself back up to the starting position, making sure to keep your back flat and core tight. It’s simple and a great way to tone your body and switch up the traditional push up.
