Find Your “Why”
“I was busy with work, and fitness hadn’t been a priority for a few years.” When Greg came into Complete Fitness with a friend just a few months ago, he was looking for a change. “[I] needed a lifestyle change with my wedding coming up this summer as well as just overall energy suffering on a day to day basis it was effecting my attitude so I needed to do something about it. I was running low on energy and always a little lethargic, so decided it was time to get more serious.” Greg knew why he wanted to change, and that helped keep him motivated.
Find the Right Gym
Greg was no stranger to gyms though. “I had gone to another gym in town for a while but never had any guidance and didn’t feel comfortable there as I didn’t know really what I should be doing or working on. I would usually end up working out for a few weeks pretty regularly and then start missing a few days here and there and next thing I knew I wasn’t going to the gym at all again. That’s one of the great things about Complete Fitness. I enjoy the people I see there every time I go and if I miss a few days in a row they will give me a hard time and keep me accountable.”
Since starting at Complete Fitness, Greg lost 13% body fat, dropped 37.5 pounds of fat, and put on 15.2 pounds of muscle. “I’m much more cognizant about what I eat especially when going out. I used to just get whatever I felt like. Now I at least think about what I’m putting into my body, and how it will effect my performance in the gym. I also used to be a social drinker on the weekends. I rarely ever drink anymore and feel much better overall”
