A push up is one of the best strength training moves you can do. Not only does this exercise build muscle in your arms, chest, and shoulders, but it also engages your core, glutes, and hamstrings.

This month, Coach Jesse shows us how to perform a push up correctly. Begin in a high plank position. Put your hands firmly on the floor, right under your shoulders. Ground those toes into the floor to stabilize yourself. Brace your core and keep your back flat and neutral. Keeping your elbows tucked in close while you lower your body until your chest nearly touches the ground. Exhale, and drive yourself back up to starting position.
