What is the best diet?
69% of American’s are overweight or obese…it’s not because of a lack of information. Do a Google search and you will come up with millions of options that all seem to contradict one another.
People are confused.
Before you start any nutrition or exercise program ask yourself this question:
“Am I going to be able to keep doing what I did to reach my goals for the rest of my life?”
If the answer is yes, then do it.
If the answer is no, then you have not found the best solution for your health & fitness.
Here are some examples:
If you go to the weight loss center and they have you buying a bunch of pre-packaged food. Ask yourself, am I going to be eating this stuff 3 years from now? Yes or no?
I’m going on Atkins or the Keto diet…Am I willing to not eat carbs for the rest of my life? Yes or no?
I’m going to intermittent fast for 16 hours per day and only eat during an 8 hour window…am I willing to do that forever? Yes or no?
Before you start on any program think it through. Does it follow common sense and can I maintain it long term?
God created you to require a certain amount of hydration, vitamins, minerals, fish oils, protein, carbs, and healthy fat on a daily basis. The best plan is simple and pretty boring. Focus on eating for fuel rather than pleasure.
Whatever you do to reach your goals, you have to continue to do to maintain them long term…
