The Importance of Stretching
You’ve got to stretch to wake up your muscles, improve flexibility, and prevent injury, but what stretches do personal trainers recommend? One of Trainer Jesse’s favorites is the Hip Up Glute Knee Squeeze.

How To Safely Perform This Stretch:
It’s a dynamic stretch that starts by getting flat on your back and grabbing a foam roller, ab mat, or anything else that works. Place it between your knees and drive up through your heels and upper back, lifting your glutes up off the ground. Get your hips up as high as possible, squeezing the ab mat/foam roller with your knees. Keep your core tight and do 3 sets of ten, squeezing your glutes at the top of the movement for 1-3 seconds. Do this 3 times a week to help loosen up your hips.
