This couple spent their free time watching TV, eating out, and “really just doing what we wanted,” Jordan and Miranda told us. “We weren’t too active. We didn’t see our health as an investment in our future.”
However, that all changed when their son was born. “We had our first son … that changed our mindset, knowing we wanted to be around for a long time. We made a commitment to make this a priority in our life.”
That doesn’t mean they didn’t have reservations about getting started, especially as new parents. “With a baby in the house, we were concerned about each of us being able to find class times that work with our schedules. Having worked out at Complete Fitness before, we knew we’d get a great workout and great results, but, like most people, it always come down to finding the time.”
Today, their weight loss total is over 50 pounds! Jordan has lost 44 pounds and his total body fat has dropped by 8.5%. His latest measurements show him down by 22 inches. Miranda has cut her body fat by 5% and has lost more than 10 pounds! The benefits don’t end there. Jordan and Miranda have seen other positive consequences.
“We both have noticed huge gains in strength, tons of energy, and waking up at 6am is no longer difficult (in fact, Jordan looks forward to the 6am classes – even with a baby in the house!). As a part of the new year, we’ve started to focus on eating, and we’ve already seen amazing weight loss there too.”
